A Little About The Cabin

Thought I would share a few things about the cabin since most of my posts will be from or about there. I don’t have too many “before” pictures, but trust me when I say it was outdated, dirty, nasty, funky colors, & missing a cozy feel. The above picture in the blog header is the front of it. It is a 1971 single wide mobile home that had a permanent addition added full length down one side. Basically a living room, laundry room, & a master bedroom were added on minus the bathroom. It also has a covered porch under part of that addition. My wife Kim always says she can’t decorate very good, but I think she did one hell of a job. We totally painted the inside, added a pallet board accent wall, & I ended up making a backsplash out of the left over pallet boards that Kim thought of. We get a lot of shade from all the very big & old trees. It sits about 500 yards from one of the lake’s boat ramps. Couldn’t be happier the way that it turned out. Gonna show a few pictures & if you get a chance to grab something like this, go for it. It’s so relaxing & time slows down there. Til next time peeps.

Took this going out one morning. Kim had it printed on canvas & it hangs in our living room.
