Well, you all now know…we have chickens. They are 12 weeks old today. We have had them since they were 2 weeks old. These ladies are so sweet & so much fun. It’s a lot of work preparing for them & raising them from babies, but has really been nice, fun, & rewarding. We have little stools we carry into their run & just sit with them. Watching them climb all over us & pecking at our clothes. It’s cool figuring out new treats to feed them & watch them come running to you as you enter with a plate or bag of something. If you get a chance & can push through building the coop & raising them, it’s so worth it. Now, wish we had gotten them way before. Still waiting for them to get to the age of where they start laying eggs, but I’m sure that will be rewarding as well. Start planning a spot in your yard & get to work…I’m sure you will love it as we do. Til next time peeps….
