Well, this weekend will probably be our last boat ride for the season. This lake has a damn & they let the water out & make it pretty low for the winter for flood control. The water on the ramps by our cabin is already getting pretty low. It’s still real hot during the day, but has been cool at night so the water temp is getting cooler. I don’t like getting in the water when it’s cold. Those are the two main reasons of why this might be our last weekend.

It’s a lot of work getting the boat loaded up with our stuff & putting it in the water & then taking it back out again, but let me tell you….I haven’t found a better place or thing in my 54 years that’s more relaxing than being out on the water. Cool breeze, water to cool off & the sunrises & sunsets are just gorgeous. Do you have a boat? Life is short, grab one & relax. Til next time peeps.
